I believe it is evident, that all flights in and out of the Hot Zone be canceled until this thing is in check....and that is what we've been calling for since this started....
I believe people realize, that it is only effective if you ban flights in and out of a county.....
So....the U.S. now has a confirmed case of Ebola being acquired within your borders with more sure to come, should your country now go on a "no fly list"?
What level of fear suites your agenda? Would it take five cases, twenty to put the U.S. of A. on a list of countries with banning of flights originating from them or, is it your contention the U.S. is somehow different than any other country with Ebola inside it's environs and should be exempt from those flight bans ?
You're a nation of 350 million souls all coming and going, think of the overwhelming negative effects to your economy at a time when it definitely does not need further stress put upon it, if your citizens are prevented from pleasure or business travel.

Looks like Belize is smarter than we are. They are sending their coast guard to the ship to make sure no one gets off. The US asked Belize to let the health care worker and her companion get off and fly home (presumably on a private plane), and Belize said hell no.
Well, that was brilliant! Let them sit there and infect the whole cruise ship, instead of getting them off for treatment in a contained manner.

We don't need a doctor. We need a manager (to the extent we need anyone at all for the two cases we have). By all accounts, this guy is a skilled manager and is well respected across the political spectrum. Leave it to the wingnuts, though, to condemn him before he even has a chance. There are no direct/ non stop flights between the hot zone and the U.S.
Based upon the limited number of flights operated by non US carriers that continue to fly between Cassablanca and Brussels and the hot zone, it appears about 1500- 2000 people a week go into/ depart from the hot zone.
These flights serve as the primary transport for medical and humanitarian aid as well as international media.
That 100- 150 passengers a day arrive , via connecting flights from the hot zone, is possible. A perception that all these arrivals are hot zone nationals is fallacy.
US and international media has reported from US , UK and Canada airport screening stations and it's obvious most passengers being screened for fever at designated airports are not hot zones nationals.
You should just create a copy and paste version of your idiotic mantra. You'd waste less time regurgitating and posting the same Obama/Jarrett/Rice talking points.
