For those that are for smaller government, tell me which industry will take the cuts? They are not lobbying government to hand out money out of the goodness of their hearts, they expect a return on their investment that only a Big Government can provide.

If you support legalized bribery and money is freedom of speech, then you support Big Government.

That is why those claiming to be against Big Government can't be more specific because they end up cutting the throats of those they worship.

Exactly-expect silence from The NeoCONS, who so whole-heartedly support nationless corporations and their take-over of our Government.

Yep, and as we can see from a few examples on this thread, they pick those that have no political or lobbying power to take the cuts and would not make a dent in Big Government.

Why does the left have such a hard-on for Somalia?

Hey guys - you're the only people talking about that country, and if you honestly believe that it's appropriate to use it as a basis of comparison when discussing what "small government" conservatives want for this country, then you're a complete and utter moron. Of course, I don't believe that any of you HONESTLY believe that. No, you're just using the most extreme example possible, regardless of how idiotic it is, to try and quash your opponent's position so that you don't have to rebut it based solely on the merits of your argument. I don't blame you. Your position sucks.

But Somalia DOES has a small limited govt. Now, is it exactly a fair comparison. .....mehhh.....but many other parts of Africa has small limited govts and they aren't prosperous either...are they? But just look at Kansas at the moment. Conservative ideals are being practiced and that state is going down the drain.

What reason do you have to justify their existence? Everything they do is or can be replicated at the state level.

The CDC does not make drugs, that would be the big Pharma companies and since Ebola is not a thing that would draw in the Big Bucks then they do not waste time and money looking for vaccines. Glad to educate you on the realities of where drugs come from and why some are not actually researched, $$$$$$
You're cannot and will never educate me on anything. I'm well aware of what the CDC does and one of those duties is to study and be ready to contain diseases like Ebola.
