We have plenty of people with lofty titles that are AWOL.
Here's one for example..probably hiding out with the Surgeon General.

I would have thought the person named Czar would have had some medical training.
That might have helped, but then again common sense and the Obama admin are perfect strangers.
So what we have is a hardcore political hack whose sole objective will be to protect Obama from any blame at any cost. Yeah America is well served by this CZAR.
Some people here clearly know nothing of project management. And I'm not saying Klain is the right guy for the job, just that simply because he doesn't have a background in HC doesn't mean he can't do the job. I would assume he was selected because he is considered to be a good project manager that can coordinate multiple resources.
Project managers are not always technical, they are just the glue that binds all technical experts together. They are there to ensure all resources working in the project (which will include an array of people with many different areas of expertise) are well coordinated and that they have no impediments to do their jobs. That's also why often project managers can work in different companies that provide different types or services or sell different types of products.
Again, this guy may not be the right guy for this, I can't possible know. But I do find it frustrating that every damn thing that happens becomes a right vs left ranting extravaganza.
Sorry, but you are wrong....as a project manager, you have to know how and when to use the assets that you have....If you do not understand what you have, how can you be a project manger? It just cannot happen...

Exactly. So the real question is why do we need a new czar? Obola is just running interference to make it seem like he is doing something when he should be halting air travel to the U.S. from West Africa.
Because all screwups can be blamed on the czar.
And when the czar leaves the head honchos can come out from under their desks and assume responsibility again and warn us about obesity and heart disease.
No one in charge wants anything to do with Ebola on US soil.
And Mr. CDC must be taking talking points from Jay Carney because he has not answered one question directly form those reporters regarding those nurses and their traveling.
And don't think that terrorist honchos all over the world aren't looking at this and how we're handling it.
The entire government is incompetent, and nothing more than a lying and spin administration. Sad so many believe the lies, but that is what the people have become.
You would think that the good job Joe Biden did with Gun Control, Obama would have put him in charge.
What is it Joe does anyway? It's time for him to earn his keep.
