Well then, those 600K voters better hurry to get legitimate Identification:
Here's some help for them:
Texas driver license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)
Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by DPS
Texas personal identification card issued by DPS
Texas concealed handgun license issued by DPS
United States military identification card containing the person’s photograph
United States citizenship certificate containing the person’s photograph
United States passport
But somehow I think if a person is that apathetic about getting a photo ID in this
day and age, why are they even interested in voting
Yea Its amazing how Voter fraud people pull magical numbers out of the air. They still refuse to understand Photo ID is the last part of a well oiled process.
Makes you wonder. Those who are firmly against Photo ID , want to position themselves to commit fraud?
How much do Democrats really care about the Little guy?
There is no little guy when it comes to politics; it is all about ME!!!
And I approve this message.
I looks like it is allowed for this election only because it is too close to the election to be changed. You can bet the elections in Texas will be closely watched, especially seeing this law will basically deny about 600K voters in Texas.
We already had our primaries requiring ID's which were "closely watched".
No change in voter turnout.
Thank you Jesus. If the "disenfranchised" voters have no problem getting a driver's license or obtaining welfare, they should have no problem presenting their id's at the voting booths.
Voters had to register by October 6 so they could vote in the upcoming election.
This ruling does NOT effect any of those that never bothered to register because they missed the boat.
If they are registered they can still get either their ID or the free voter certificate at any DPS office or one of the mobile units that come to their town.
There was a window for free IDs but that has passed.
I guess you haven't had to rent a car, take a commercial airplane anywhere, sign up your children for sports, have children in school or a host of other "show me your papers" venues...
Where do you get this, are you making statistics up again ?
That number came from the article, did you not click on the link and read it?
