Texas concealed handgun license issued by DPS
United States military identification card containing the person’s photograph
United States citizenship certificate containing the person’s photograph

But somehow I think if a person is that apathetic about getting a photo ID in this

Voter fraud and to cry the racist card.

Makes you wonder. Those who are firmly against Photo ID , want to position themselves to commit fraud?

We already had our primaries requiring ID's which were "closely watched".
No change in voter turnout.

Thank you Jesus. If the "disenfranchised" voters have no problem getting a driver's license or obtaining welfare, they should have no problem presenting their id's at the voting booths.

Where have you been ? People have had to "show their papers" for a number of years for everything BUT voting.

You can't buy cough medicine without a picture ID.

Voters had to register by October 6 so they could vote in the upcoming election.
This ruling does NOT effect any of those that never bothered to register because they missed the boat.

If they are registered they can still get either their ID or the free voter certificate at any DPS office or one of the mobile units that come to their town.

There was a window for free IDs but that has passed.

Early voting begins Monday.

I guess you haven't had to rent a car, take a commercial airplane anywhere, sign up your children for sports, have children in school or a host of other "show me your papers" venues...
