John Coleman, who co-founded the Weather Channel, shocked academics by insisting the theory of man-made climate change was no longer scientifically credible.
Instead, what 'little evidence' there is for rising global temperatures points to a 'natural phenomenon' within a developing eco-system.
...
"I have studied this topic seriously for years. It has become a political and environment agenda item, but the science is not valid."
...
He added: "There is no significant man-made global warming at this time, there has been none in the past and there is no reason to fear any in the future.
Hopefully this can just fade away.
To me - nobody would know anything about global warming or climate changed unless the "scientists" had made their claims. There is no visible evidence.
So let me get this straight, someone who's education background in journalism is saying global warming isn't real? Interesting....doesn't the old saying go, if weathermen could report yesterday's weather today, then they would always be correct.

Let me get this straight... So-called scientists who refuse to provide any evidence or data insist that their theories are true and proven by the graphs they produce are to be believed, but intelligent people who have made a life of collecting facts can't be.
Got it.
No wonder you love politicians and let them think for you.

No one is safe from being thrown under the liberal greyhound bus.
Seems self-explanatory to me. Lowest ice levels on record.
In the 19th century, discoverers had their ships trapped in the ice and their crews dying from starvation and exposure.
As late as the 1960s, freight ships attempting the passage would need several ice breakers in support and the route was deemed impractical.
Now your basic reinforced arctic cargo ship does the trip, and the shipping industry has had its first conference trying to hammer out the legal niceties involved in using the passage.
Hell, in the 2000s, it has been a popular passage for yachtsmen - where old Amundsen spent two years iced in when he made the first successful passage in 1904.

Remember the audience: They get their talking points on science from Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh.
They are as clueless about science as some businessman who started the Weather Channel.

So, you believe history started when people began writing about the ice-choked NW Passage?
So, you don't believe in evolution, then, since history started when the written word was invented, right? Before that, no facts existed...
