Anyone who says, opines, intimates or even hints at judging someone else's "blackness" or lack thereof is a racist gooftard. What-the-ever-living-fudge is the proper amount of "blackness"? Who invented the scale, what is the scale, what are its parameters, and who gets to judge Russel Wilson according to it?

It's a part of everyday life according to a couple black media types on ESPN, and they say it has been this way in every locker room for decades.
Who gets to judge? Apparently the alpha black athletes in the locker rooms. Wilbon said it usually lurks in the background, but sometimes things happen where it shows itself. Perhaps that happened in Seattle, to some degree anyway
Wilson doesn't sound black at all and by all accounts is a quintessential professional. I grew up in The Big Easy and I believe there are some blacks that would diss Wilson for being an "Uncle Tom." He's a sellout to the dominant culture. But I respect Wilson for how he comports himself. I'm guessing this will blow over soon after the next couple of wins.
I don't usually watch football, so please forgive a stupid question, but "black enough" for what? We are talking ethnicity?
I live in Alaska so we root for the SeaHawks, and the last superbowl was so fantastic! (The only game I watch) He did a wonderful job. I know there are coaches and stuff but if the QB is a butthead won't it hurt the team, therefore he must be a very good, if not great, leader.

Why are people mad?
Because Percy Harvin got cut, and he was "black enough", and perhaps Wilson did not do enough in the eyes of some to fight to keep him. Some might blame him for Harvin getting the boot.
Plus, Wilson is a leader and popular with management, and for Harvin fans, they are responsible for him being traded.
According to Wilbon, being accused of being "too close to the front office", as has been said about Wilson, is code for "not being black enough"

While I tend to despise NFL football I can't help but take an interest, much as one holds a Spider, or some loathsome Insect, over the Fire. This controversy has come up here in Seattle. There has been a shakeup of the team, and it turns out that there is a racial divide.
I don't suppose one could produce evidence to support the accusation. "Not black enough"--how do you prove that. Yet the accusation was made, and not just against Wilson, but against RG3. You can't prove it, and you can't defend against it. That's why it is the perfect ploy for the left.
