His Fastball: Take current hot topic, twist it into causing some sort of catastrophe that you should be prepared for (aka buy stuff off my website sponsors).
His Curveball: Point out anything odd or that can be twisted to be odd and claim cover-up and conspiracy. For example, if the NY guy with Ebola has a sudden death in the family like an 80yo mom with hearts problems keels over....claim that she was silenced etc etc.
