I don't care what people say and nobody else does either. There is a phenomenon of people crawling out to complain about WHATEVER anyone says publicly and it's probably even a mental issue but we all know it exists. It's the idea that what we think matters and everyone ought to hear what we have to say even when we aren't the ones involved.
Well he can come down and heal my body any time he wants.
From the natural interactions of chemical compounds that have affinities with each other.
Time, and a hell of a lot of 'fine-tuning' by natural forces.
Who do you think put those natural laws in place?Certainly not man.. we are far more intricate than we can fathom.. we know very little.. We believe this or that , do studies and still have to find out more.
Jehovah Rapha is God the healer. That is the name we call God in his power to heal. God can heal us instantly or in his time.. God also heals through wisdom he gives us to understand how we are made and what will aid us to heal. If we are burned we can apply the salve, but he makes the salve aid in the healing of our bodies. The salve alone does not work, it is the hand of God that created the regeneration of cells that is really the power.
We can water a plant, put it in the sun, but we do not grow the leaves or bare the fruit. That is the natural laws built in the seed that God created and God's conditional laws to manifest the growth. God set up the natural laws in this world , not man.
If this woman wants to thank God, she is right to do so.
They are so intolerant they cannot stand any vestiges of religion. I guess they feel threatened. And, why would they feel threatened by something they claim not to believe? The Holy Spirit is convicting them.
The problem with too many atheists is that they're religious maniacs. Atheism is a religion to them, they ridicule nonbelievers and they try to convert everyone.
Does prayer or belief in god cure people? Not my daughter who is severely autistic. (Lord) knows my ex's family and their preacher prayed mighty hard. The pun was intended. That said I don't and won't deny anyone their faith or beliefs. If it makes them feel better or helps them to keep hope then it is working for them. There is much to be said for the power of positive thinking.
I also believe that if that nurse's medical staff depend upon praise or credit from those they treat I feel sad for them.

LOL only the extremists. Most the atheists that I know really don't care.
