Weird stuff is a fixture of Virginia highways.

I suspect they were filming on a closed course; Virginia has been aggressive about attracting filming here lately.

Wal Mart is in thick with the federal government and has been designated a supply and transit operator for them in case of a national emergency. I'd imagine Coca Cola and CVS has distribution networks the government could use in time of crisis.
The Special Olympics? Possible, but it seems highly unlikely that they'd need that many trucks for any kind of event or publicity operation.
Wal Mart transports food, clothes, everything. Cocal Cola is a major water bottler and CVS has medicines and whatnot. It looked like they were moving and stockpiling a BIG emergency supply and had to rush it in instead of doing it in smaller numbers over time.
Yeah, you have to wonder about that video unless you're one of the ostrich people.

Better pick up some tin foil on rollback.

Given the track record of people making these conspiracy claims, their butt cheeks are their main form of head protection.

Don't worry though, the end of Obama's 2nd term is coming up so everyone can dust off their "Presidents is going to declare martial law to stay in office".

The older I get and the more of these re-hashed claims I hear the more absurd they get.

Looks like a publicity stunt. The differences between a police escorted 200 truck convoy and a similar motorcycle club ride is the truck convoy is longer and the motorcycles are louder. Both are an annoyance.

The conspiracy sites theorize that it could have been something secret the government wanted moved quickly and under cover.
The "convoy" reported they raised $20K. Probably cost twice that much or more to hold that "event".

These days who knows what the truth is anymore.
Those tin foil hat sites have been right quite a few times in the past 6 years.
