They don't know yet. But even when they DO know, they'll waffle, wring their hands and apologize pre-emptively to the Muslim community before calling it something other than terrorism.

Or it was just some whack-job with no ties to terrorism. Somebody above said it - beheading seems to be trendy right now. This country is burning.

Nope..as other posters have said..beheading is trendy now.

It was just a matter of time before that started occurring in the US.

Happens all the time in the ME and happens all the time in Mexico.
Now it has come to the US.

NY does have strict gun laws so he had to find another way.

Haven't said much on that as of yet, but the thinking seems to be more of a murder-suicide domestic incident. The victim was the mother.
