I guess the Republican Sheriff where I am does not like the vote I give him. Let me be more specific, Where I am now I will not vote for a Statewide Republican or a County Comm.

In reguards to nurses opinions I have family (3 members) who have benefited from the ACA and started working in the Medical field. So yes I have spoken to people who like where the ACA is going.

The ACA is working and it works best if the state you live in accepts the Medicaid expansion.

My insurance (not subsidized by ACA) has stayed the same, after years of substantial increases. While I typically vote more Dem than Rep, I usually vote for one or more Rep's each year. This Year (early voting) it was only one.

I'm not lying.

I don't understand how people would be against requiring everyone to have insurance? When people don't have insurance and they get sick, they default on their bills (almost nobody could pay uninsured medical bills for a true illness). It forces responsible people like me to foot the bill through higher premiums and higher medical costs to cover the write-offs. IMO, not being insured is not any different than being on the "wellfare teet".

Um no. You are in the minority.

If I had gone with the crap I was offered I would be paying thousands more for less coverage.

Almost 50% more than what I was paying. So you got a subsidy meaning you are sponging off other people. That was how Ostupidcare was supposed to work.

Well, you aren't getting any of my money since I refused to get covered outside of my job which pays for my physical and not much else. The fine is cheaper.

I support her getting the pill. That way she can't breed more stupidity into the world.

This has been going on since long before ACA was even written. The ACA is not responsible for restricting which doctor you can see, the specific policy defines that.

It was VERY stupid and irresponsible for him to say you could keep your doctor. It wasn't true before ACA, and ACA didn't have anything in it to reverse that trend, therefore it was, by default, incorrect. (I wouldn't call that a lie though, just grossly negligent.)
