Heres the real question in my mind, sure Obama will veto for the next 2 years,a nd they wont put it on any must pass legislation I expect, but in 2016....will their candidate for presidency run on vetoing it? Thats going to be a fun question for them
How in the world does Obamcare save the taxpayers money? It's projected to cost 2 trillion dollars over 10 years. Where do you get a cost of 2 trillion dollars as a savings? Is that liberal math or something?
What do you think it would cost without Obamacare? And where do you think that money would come from?
214,000 were excluded because they charge too much. That leaves almost 700,000 that participate. Not much different that Medicare, Medicaid, or even employer provided insurance. A couple of years ago my employer switched plans and I lost my doctor. Guess what if you retire and go on Medicare you will also stand a good chance of losing your doctor, change jobs, change to a different plan, etc. But for some reason Obummercare is bad for trying to save taxpayers money.
I'm pretty sure he lives on Fantasy Island, cruising around on his motorized scooter while occasionally looking skyward and saying "Da plane! Da plane!"
In a previous post I stated "since the left believes in socialized medicine how will they convince exceptional students to pursue careers in becoming physicians". Obviously the reality is that we'll end up with mediocre
health professionals like Canada.
I forgot where I read this, it says that the medical world is going IT. It will be very hard for small physician practice. Just as small retail stores had to find a niche they could fit in with bigger, IT-enabled competitors, so too will small M.D. practices. Undoubtedly, many will not survive

This has been true since the '90s. As a doc you almost have to group up, otherwise you'll have to be employed.
IT and the EMR has tended to aggravate this movement due to up front and maintenance costs.
They opted out because the reimbursement rates for the subsidized plans don't even cover their costs to provide the service.
There are a lot of Doctors that will not take Medicare either and moonbats think that taking health care and decoupling it from employers is a good thing. They think a government who is so far in debt it will never be able to repay it and can't wipe their own azz is a better option.
I have seriously thought about quitting my job, getting free health care, food stamps etc.. Hell, I am going to retire early since I can work the numbers to get subsidized health care.. Let the illegals that are going to take all the jobs that natural citizens would have taken pay for my health care right?

Have I missed something? Everyone has to sign up for obamacare so if the doctors do not accept it what is left that they can accept? Probably not medicaid?
Not sure that the students that are more interested in healing the sick rather than making a lot of money should be called "mediocre ".
