They've kept moving the goalposts for the past 20 or more years now as each predicted "tipping point" has come and gone. They keep moving them forward because alarmism gets attention and gets funding dollars.

#4, 5, and 6

Is there climate change... YES! DOH!

The oldest climate samples from ice only go back about 123,000 years. That's nothing more than a teeny tiny snippet of history.

Consider the earth is 5B years old, and that during the Jurassic period greenhouse gasses were much higher than now. Science agrees that the CO2 levels were double or triple what they are now.

Man may have added to it, but stopping a volcano from erupting would be easier than stopping climate change.

This is all a rouse to collect more money from the easily duped.

Nail has been firmly hit on the head!

When they're standing in snow drifts, they'll blame man for global cooling. It's a never-ending ATM that keeps giving and giving, and has been for more than 130 years now.

The first global cooling alarmism began around 1880, and has swung from cooling to heat at least seven times since. However, this time is different; they contend, as they merrily collect checks, and will change nothing.

Gore (I know, I know, the left's favorite deflection example,) the arguable Godfather of the AGW extremists, can't be too worried about his predictions; having blown $9M (a decade ago) for a mansion on a beach, which rests at 1 foot elevation.

A MANSION ON A BEACH!!! How ironic is that?

According to him, 15 years ago, his mansion should have already been swamped!

If he was just testing to see how gullible people are, he certainly proved himself right!

No worries! It's powered by a green energy mix of sheer hypocrisy and liberal elitism

You gotta warn me before posting something like this. Coffee blew out my nose, and my head rolled off my neck.

Climate study is very important and would be studied regardless. You are misunderstanding this tipping point. Again, the severe consequences are long term. Globalization is recent phenomenon and tackling this issue before the world adopts a 21st century is important....

I tend to not believe people that have been wrong for over 50 years which is why I'm neither Democrat, Republican, or a MMGW proponent. The Climate is a-Changing, but not for your political reasons.

That sounds better than ignorance and blind partisanship. Thanks you showing us your true colors so I know to take your word less seriously. Pathetic.

That's pretty ignorant. Have you ever considered that the planet is warming and we exacerbating it by releasing gigatons of green house gases annually that have been locked up for hundreds of millions of years?

Asteroid impacts are natural too. No big deal since it's natural? Or what?

The thing about the natural cycle crowd, is that we humans are creating an unnatural world. They underestimate the power of humans to change the environment around them. Lastly, they seem ignorant that it can be both a natural and human made actions that are altering the climate. It's not an exclusive phenomenon.
