I was going to suggest Somalia. Probably very low taxes there.

Daycare is especially expensive in major cities and sometimes the average income cannot keep up. (we were in San Diego). my husband is military and even through the military childcare centers our cost for both children, one who was in half day kindergarten and the other one being 2, we would be paying $1000/month. There was no way I was going to go to work just to pay someone else to spend time with my kids. Now they are both in elementary school, so I can work and I pay a minimal fee for before and after care through the YMCA. Usually my husband is off before me and I go to work after him, so it works out.
My income would have been eaten up by daycare costs as well. That said, I would have chosen to stay at home either way. No need for the government to subsidize care for my kids. No need for our family to subsidize care for other people's kids. There are already programs in place for those who truly need help. Where do we draw the line? I say we draw it now.

Just let the government go about it's business as charged to them and leave the social engineering out of it.

Yep. And having subsidized childcare is a huge help to working families.

I'm all for it.

More poor live in red states because they have a lower COL.
Poor people pay little to no taxes and qualify for any of the 80+ social welfare programs.

Karl Popper made a crucial distinction between the principles of democratic social engineering (what he called "piecemeal social engineering") and Utopian social engineering.

He wrote:"the piecemeal engineer will adopt the method of searching for, and fighting against, the greatest and most urgent evil of society, rather than searching for, and fighting for, its greatest ultimate good.

The difference between "piecemeal social engineering" and "Utopian social engineering" is:

The difference between a reasonable only method of improving matters which has so far been really successful, and a method which (Utopian) , wherever it has been tried, has led only to the use of violence in place of reason, and if not to its own abandonment, at any rate to that of its original blueprint."

We can be thankful that our government uses the piecemeal approach. Even greater happiness should they abandon it all together. With one exception which is Social Security Insurance, with the unspent premiums invested in gold, when it was passed we would not consider it a problem today. To take from that fund should have been regarded a treasonous act. * *

Every adult will work and the government will take care of your kids from cradle to grave.
Hey..we'll just "tax the rich" to pay for this right ?

And I'm sure it will also include the undocumented Democrats and their families.
