Well the GOPs largest donor bankrolled the entire prohibition side to the tune of $2.5 Million, so I'd say on this it is hard to not blame them. I'm no Dem but for the most part they are MUCH better on this issue.
Can't blame advertising for how people vote.
If they are not informed enough and just go with the flow of what the MSM tells them then it's their fault and loss.

20 bucks says that billionaire has a huge investment in big pharma
karma has a way of coming back and biting people in the rear end.
here's hoping none of those people have a relative diagnosed with cancer, chronic seizures, and a host of other diseases which cannabis can facilitate.
Indeed. The argument from prohibitionists is medical weed is an excuse to get high. And, so what? If one has a condition that ails them, and they're absolutely miserable, and one of the side-effects is a nice hum which helps them get through it, then how is it a problem?! I guarantee you that if I had one of those horrible diseases I'd want to have a buzz going as much as possible! Why not have a little fun to escape the misery of those horrible diseases?

Democrats? Republicans? 2 sides of the same coin! Until we the people get our heads out of our a**ess and start voting for the Ron Paul or Gary Johnson types who actually understands what it means about individual liberties then nothing will change!

I wonder how much stock that billionaire had in big pharma?? you know that pos in Florida that coughed up 5 million..
Florida probably did the right thing. Amending the state's constitution for this sort of issue is reflective of a lazy and/or disingenuous legislature. For now, the 'good old boys' club in the state lingers on. Big pharma and the state's criminal justice system will continue to fill their coffers on the backs of retirees and the growing, engineered financial underclass respectively.

Well, 2 initiatives for cannabis to get on the 2014 ballot were rejected by our neocon Attorney General Mike DeWine. He has already shown his bias that he opposes cannabis use as does his neocon buddy Governor John Kasich. So it's no wonder they rejected the proposals. I wonder who from Big Pharma is greasing their palms? Let's not forget too that here in Cleveland the medical industry is a boom, and continues to grow! At any rate, I look to see another push here in Ohio to get on the ballot in 2015, and if not then 2016.
