In the perfect situation the non cleared public would never know for certain and maybe this is exactly what is happening. The actual participants involved know and for them this is credit enough as they don’t have to, nor want to, brag about it. They are an experienced shadow element who knows how to keep secrets secret.

Why would we put one veteran and his family , friends, etc at risk to protect another veteran and his family and friends? The only people that his identity matters to is the people selling the story.
