No, it's not. States that don't have their own minimum wage laws are consistently the poorest states in the nation (not because of MW itself, but because they are regressive and anti-labor as a whole). The government doles out the most welfare for these states. We shouldn't be subsidizing them.

What difference does it make? $3 / hour won't improve their situation so what's the point? Whether they earn $0 / hour or $3 / hour, they will need welfare either way. The only difference is $3 / hour is a salary, which means their employer is getting subsidized by me the taxpayer. I'll pass on the corporate welfare.
