From 2001 to 2005, a black woman was the National Security Advisor to the President, who was a Republican, iirc.
From 2005 to 2009, a black woman was the US Secretary of State, again, while we had a Republican President.
That same Republican President nominated a black woman to the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit TWICE because he wouldn't let two years of Democrat obstruction keep Janice Rogers Brown off the bench.
So help me out here...why again is a black woman as AG the Republicans' worst nightmare? They sure didn't seem to mind a black woman being SoS, NSA or a justice on the nation's 2nd highest court. Why would they care if a black woman is AG?
Obama expected to nominate a black woman to be attorney general
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama is expected to nominate U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch of New York to become the next U.S. attorney general, CNN reported Friday.
Lynch, 55, a long-time prosecutor, would be the first African-American woman to hold the job if she is nominated and confirmed by the Senate.
Lynch currently serves as U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, which covers the borough of Brooklyn, and is thought to be a non-controversial candidate who would be easily confirmed.
My thoughts exactly... until I realized we are dealing with liberal democrats. They view the world thru their absurd and ridiculous prism. They actually believe their own hate-filled, ludicrous rhetoric and campaign ads, they truly think Republicans hate women and blacks.
I think the next two years will be Obama playing with the Republicans to try and ruin them in the public eye for the 2016 elections.
