This bill was written in a tortured way to make sure CBO did not score the mandate as taxes. If CBO scored the mandate as taxes, the bill dies. Okay, so it’s written to do that. In terms of risk rated subsidies, if you had a law which said that healthy people are going to pay in – you made explicit healthy people pay in and sick people get money, it would not have passed… Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really really critical for the thing to pass… Look, I wish Mark was right that we could make it all transparent, but I’d rather have this law than not.”

Gotta love the ingorance of the left....

But don't worry, how does itfeel to be called stupid...lefties....you wanted it, you got it...

Default Who didn't know this about the ACA?

Obamacare Architect Admits Deceiving Americans to Pass Law

“Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage,” says the MIT economist who helped write Obamacare. “And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical for the thing to pass.”

We had to pass the bill so that we could, you know, find out what was in it.

It isn't like we fiscal conservatives didn't try really hard to reason with the left in here. Nothing about the ACA made any sense, and it was dripping with deception. The left accepted all the lies, even after the truth surfaced; you can keep your doctor, plan, and save money. They abandoned all common sense as they entered the gates of candy land.

Like I said... nothing but deception!

Pelosi is not stupid, and she's smart enough to know the people she was speaking to are.

I was one of the thousands in DC protesting the day the ACA bill passed.

Pelosi walked though the crowd with her huge hammer......any other time she would have used the tunnel.

It was a dark day for the USA.

The Democrat core- young, clueless, idealist kids, uneducated minorities, criminal freeloaders, and single white baby mamas all fell for it hook, link, and sinker.

The rest of us said "I told you so."

You can't fix stupid.
