So I opened my Facebook feed and there is a liberal posting that she was recently at Walmart where a person was busted for stealing baby formula. She was saying that while "stealing was wrong," it was acceptable in the light of "feeding the baby."

Do liberals even think? If everyone who ran short of money and needs something to eat goes into Walmart and steals what they want or need, Walmart would have to raise prices significantly on their paying customers. It is not Walmart's obligation to have their goods STOLEN so your baby (that is the parents obligation to care for) is fed. Those nice little American flag debit cards and WIC are made for this purpose, not theft.

Maybe you should ask the person posting.

It is your Facebook feed after all.

Duh

At least they're being honest about their views. It's the same logic used to justify any collectivism (it's okay to use force or take from someone if it's for the greater good)...when it's applied to non-government situations, it's easier to see why it's wrong.

The ends don't justify the means.

Baby formula is extremely expensive. Thats why WIC exists. More often its to resell on craigslist.

How sad that someone has to steal to try to feed their baby. And how sad that the only thing the OP cares about is the act of stealing baby formula, and gives not a thought to the desperate underlying situation that probably led to it. Compassion seems to be a foreign notion around here.

Well, the baby is a "taker" who does nothing to earn his keep, so I guess he gets what he deserves.

How do you know they were feeding a baby and not selling it? I love how you go all of a sudden into "waaaa waaa, people dont get enough welfare" tyraid and if you dont agree, then you are a hater and want babies to die

Good try, no cigar.

Every state has SNAP/food stamps (and a multitude of other programs) for the needy.

If that baby isn't being fed, then s/he should be removed from that home.

Precisely. This Walmart is in a poor town where you see more EBT cards than personal debit/credit cards.
