My personal opinion, I'm against legalizing pot for recreational use. However, I support individual states making such laws via elections. If my state held such an election, I'd vote against legalizing for recreational use. If the law passed, majority of voters ruled and I'd live with a law I didn't agree with. Doesn't mean I'd go out and start using pot for recreational use. However, I am against the United Nations trying to dictate laws of USA or individual states.

The UN also doesn't want us to be able to brew our own beer or moonshine.

Same way an actual amendment was needed to ban alcohol and an amendment to make it legal once again, because the sorrow caused by the ban, was nothing compared to it being legal and people wanting to be free.

That is the only amendment, keeping them at bay.

How come alcohol needed an amendment to ban it on the federal level, buy pot and other drugs only needed a statutory law, to take our liberties?????

Yet no such amendment exists for cannabis, or any other illegal drug. Therefore, that makes the war on drugs unConstitutional does it not?
