This is a good point. It's a shame the leftists do not respect the Constitution.

Who else can let raw sewage run in the ditches???

Our health department has many cases in court with the Amish.
If they run raw sewage into the ditches,why is there no odor when driving down their farm lanes?

You do know,don't you that homes on aeration septic systems exhaust into ditches,BUT that liquid is no longer considered "raw sewage"! When I lived in a rural area all of the homes there had these systems because of the clay non-percolating soil,septic tanks with drainage fields are no longer permitted. That liquid does not smell,and is claimed to be pure enough to drink,but I sure wouldn't,lol!

Magnanimity and kindness have NOTHING to do with Christianity. If they did, this country would be a better place.

Really? You know nothing about Christianity then. How about;

"Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the Church, and gave himself up for her to make her Holy."

There are many, many such verses in the Bible. Magnanimity and kindness are the essence of Christianity, and Christ spoke often of charity. But the greatest message of all is Salvation by Grace, through Faith.

They use out houses.

They have no septic systems.

No if you follow the words of Christ it does. If so-called Christians would actually follow Christ's teachings, this country would be a better place. But we are human after all, and not perfect.

Most but the extreme Old Order Amish sects, have indoor plumbing,including bathrooms! How would an outhouse run sewage to the ditch? Ever see anyone put their outhouse beside the road? I have never seen an outhouse on their farms.
