So from Obama, I am getting he is sympathetic to Brown's family and 'warning' the police?? Wow. Even after the evidence showed that Wilson acted legally, he thinks the police is the ones that need to work? How about telling people not to commit crimes or attack officers? Geez, he is NOT making this better at all.

What, protect themselves from a lunatic charging at them? Sure, you might be right.

Just remember the phrase and love it:

Pants up, Don't loot!!!

I wonder why the city didn't go around collecting anything and every thing that could have been thrown to cause damage. If the rioters are going to riot, at least make them have to bring their own projectiles. Just a random observation.

They didn't convene a Grand Jury specifically for this case. In our System of Justice - there is ALWAYS a Grand Jury convened. They serve for a specific amount of time and take up cases as they occur. It's very customary for any case that involves a Police Officer and the death of a citizen in questionable circumstance, to go before a Grand Jury to see if there is evidence to issue an Indictment for a number of different charges ..... in this case, Involuntary Manslaughter all the way up to Murder.

The Grand Jury spent 3 months hearing Witness reports (ALL that came forward) and reviewing the Forensic evidence. It takes 9 votes of 12 to issue an indictment and the burden of evidence is for a probable crime - it's a pretty low bar. I gather this was a unanimous decision from a couple of posts - I missed the first part of the Press Conference.

It's OVER.

All the decent folks may be home, but I highly doubt they're having a good night's sleep.

And if this verdict was released at 9am on Tuesday morning, most of the ones on the street right now(who are now setting cars on fire) would still be in bed.

Releasing it in the morning might(not for sure) but might have allowed for the verdict to sink in and tempers to cool, it was foolish(or maybe on purpose) to release it at night.

So what do the protesters think they are going to accomplish by trying to tip over a police car? And I am sure the officers are unfounded by shooting tear gas at those who were tipping the car over.

Two major race issues have now happened under Obama's watch. As a black man, he had a chance to bring people together and tamp down the violence. In both cases, he chose to stir things up. He's not just a terrible president, he is a dangerous one.
