And there we have a major problem. People need to stop automatically assuming people DON'T care. People do friggin' care! Do you think folks enjoy seeing people killing each other every damn day?? It does make it hard for some folks to care when it's simply criminal killing each other though via gang activity, drug deals, etc.
Stop doing things that lead to people demonizing the movement. Looting and burning stuff down sure as hell ain't going to win you any supporters.
The drug "war" has always been an EPIC waste of money. Legalize/Tax/Sell.
I do care about keeping order in every community but I care not about the violent people who burn and destroy what good, peaceful people have contributed to society. There is a very good reason many of us avoid thugs and move to the other side of the street when no peace officers are present. Many of us are tired of the whining and belly aching about the results the perpetrators bring on themselves. It isn't rocket science, if you do the crime - have fun doing the time. If any law abiding citizen wants respect, try earning it and an honest living while contributing to society.
My heart goes of out to Officer Wilson who was doing his job by protecting his community as well as himself. If he hadn't defended himself who would have been the thugs next victim?
Couldn't the EXACT some thing be said about the public's perception of Black people? You're doing EXACTLY what most Black folks wish people would simply STOP doing. Stop painting an an entire group of people as criminals due to the actions of a smaller percentage of their population.
Gtown has already endorsed guilt by association. he no longer has a complaint against it.

Nobody. He'd be in jail for theft/robbery.
Nobody is supporting lawlessness. People believe that excessive force was used and there are many witness accounts that tell a much different story about how the altercation went down.

How is it that he would be in jail for theft/robbery?
Wilson was trying to arrest him and Brown was not complying with the officer's orders. Wilson was doing his job and Brown was being a criminal.
When you assault cops, you just might get shot. That's what happened. Why doesn't the "civil rights movement" pick a legit case to air their grievances? Many of us evil white conservatives are sympathetic to the issue of police militarization and excessive use of force. By picking such a ridiculous case to champion that cause, the left is doing more harm than good to the cause.

Well first, you'd have to assume Wilson was arresting them for the robbery. Which the Police Chief said was not the case in his first press interview.
(The Police report was blank).
The incident was over jaywalking.
And this is not a "left or right" issue. Why do people have to politicize EVERYTHING?
