Funny, I was thinking the same thing. Sad though, something worse happened.
I just think we have a whole generation of wanna be Jay Z's who are really just kids, stuck in
the fantasy of wanting to be a zillionaire someday. I'm sure he was compared to Biggie Smalls
during his lifetime, thus the Instagram page.
You can't blame them really. Every generation has them; the '60's to present. Just different looks,
and different drugs. That culture is in every movie, every award show.
But this kid, and yes, I'm going to call him that, did something most young blacks
in poor neighborhoods do not do. He graduated from High School and he was going to go to trade school.
Look around at places like inner city Chicago, Detroit, Milwaukee, St. Louis. How many of those are
doing that?

IMO, the Ferguson police shooting got so out of hand, because of how the Ferguson police dept.
handled it from the beginning. But they could not help themselves. There has been a discourse in
that town for a long long time. A defensive discourse. And now you have a Governor that summons
the national guard but doesn't use them to protect the very businesses, anyone with half a brain
would know would be first targets, simply because of their proximity.
No matter how anyone feels about this particular shooting, you have to be in denial not to believe
there is something wrong with the way they handle things up there...
