Who's talking about the people getting ready for work? They're in the minority of their minority. The way things are going, by tomorrow morning their places of employment will have been burned to the ground by their "brothers."
Sure are a lot 'em, aren't there. Black crime is disproportionate to their numbers. They are doing no one any favors with this behavior - least of all themselves or their 'cause.'
Just plain pitiful.
There are more black people in the crowd because Ferguson is 75 % black. I mean, what do you want them to do? bus in some white folks?
We have Wilson's self-serving, heavily coached testimony. We don't have Mike Brown's---because he's DEAD.
We have evidence that sounded highly equivocal. We have conflicting witness statements. Any one of those reasons would have justified a trial, a fair trial in which this could have been sorted out. A grand jury is not there to give a verdict of guilty or not guilty, it is only supposed to find probable cause that there should be a trial because a crime may have been committed.
And they didn't find probable cause. Some of the witnesses either changed their stories or had stories that was completely contradicted by the physical evidence. And yet you think those witness statements should still be considered credible and rationale for indicting the officer? You remind me of conspiracy theory nutters that consistently refuse to see actual evidence and try to claim some non-entity is important even when it has been debunked or refuted.
A person can close that distance in a couple of seconds, it is clearly obvious you have absolutely ZERO self defense training, law enforcement training, security training, or even even a hint of an idea of self defense in general.
Going for a gun is a deadly force action, that is standard operating procedure for every law enforcement agency. That is also a deadly force authorization for any civilian as well.
You would probably freak if they (law enforcement and military) show what you do if you have a rifle and someone tries to grab it from you (one out of a few tactics), you actually just shove it to them and let them have it, and grab your pistol and shoot the person right away.
Wilson had his car door to cower behind. He had his gun. He was some distance from the victim. Brown had already been shot. I'll be interested to read the actual evidence presented to the grand jury, but right now, it doesn't seem that Wilson was severely injured, and it doesn't seem that his shooting of Michael Brown was not worthy of at least a trial. A grand jury hearing is not a trial; it's not supposed to be a trial.

Until the evidence is publicly disclosed, neither you nor I know what was what. But when there are conflicting witness accounts, and a dead teenager, at least a trial is warranted. If Wilson wasn't guilty of police brutality, the trial would show that.
I'm surprised so many cars are driving around. You would think they would close the streets.
