If people do not respect the law there is no hope for Ferguson. The riots, fires and looting will only chase the few employers out of town. What insurance company is going to cover any business in an area with no control over it's population? Guess where the cost of the lost police cars and damage to municipal buildings will come from? All of this so a couple of juveniles can grab the latest toy and they will not even be entitled to warranty service!
Peaceful protest can make a point. However; there is absolutely no excuse for what happened last night. All that was is another nail in the coffin of the people that live in that community. Violent protest encourages/justifies/gives reason for more police brutality.
We have Wilson's self-serving, heavily coached testimony. We don't have Mike Brown's---because he's DEAD.
We have evidence that sounded highly equivocal. We have conflicting witness statements. Any one of those reasons would have justified a trial, a fair trial in which this could have been sorted out.
It WAS sorted out by the GJ. All they had to do was match the forensic evidence to the valid witness testimony, discarding any other testimony that didn't fit the known forensic facts of the case such as the pure BS spewed by MB's supporters.
One of the grand jurors actually asked if Michael Brown's body itself could legally have been considered a murder weapon or words to that effect. It's so sad.

That's a legitimate question. Why do you think it's sad? A person's fists, car, and any number of things could be considered a weapon.

Every time you state that, it makes me think you haven't read the documents from the grand jury, because the forensic evidence is not over-whelming proof of anything, as far as I can tell so far from what I've read.
In one of the final documents the jurors are asking about the amount of foliage on the trees near the scene...it just seems like a big muddle.
But I don't blame these jurors. In what I've read they raise some of the very same objections I have. Dump a bunch of inconclusive statements on them--- confusing, jumbled, contradictory --- and ask them to somehow become forensic experts and legal scholars and make sense of it---and no one to guide them...it's ridiculous.
Everyone knew Obama voters would act this way, and they specifically planned to announce the GJ decision when the least amount of innocent people would be harmed by the Obama voters...
Why are you trying to smear people who voted for Obama with the rioting thugs in Ferguson?
Many hard-working, freedom-loving Americans did not want to vote for the political party that:
* Supports economic policies that transfer most of the wealth produced by working Americans to the nation's top 5%.
* Knowingly lied to the American public about WMDs in Iraq resulting in the needless deaths or maiming of thousands of Americans while adding trillions to our national debt.
* Has no ideas about how to fix our nation's health care system (other than for people to pray to God that they don't get sick and that if they do get sick they should die quickly and quietly).
* Wants to transform the nation into a Christian version of Iran (call it "Jesusland") and put Big Government in the Bedroom.
