The methods of impeachment must be changed in the US. This is because although it takes
2/3 of the Senate to impeach a sitting President, Senators are no longer selected by states,
but elected by the general public.
Until the laws are changed, it is going to be impossible to impeach a sitting President as long
as one party can maintain 1/3 +1 in Senate.
I agree, the states should have the final say over impeachment of a potus, not the senate.

I'm very well read on this issue. The House impeaches, and the Senate tries. Snowball7 said the Senate impeaches - I was simply correcting that misinformation. My "claims" were 100% accurate.
