No, we shouldn't be taking in more refugees. Especially not when our own poor are suffering---our poor come first and foremost.

I don't know what the history of bring refugees here is. The first ones I remember being let in were when we brought in the Vietnamese.
I don't think the government should be making that kind of policy or be in the business of deciding who they will sponsor on the peoples tax money.
Government requires citizens to sign a financial waiver making the citizen responsible for all support keeping the one brought in from receiving any form of government welfare program support. That is understandable.
Then they turn around and offer maximum support through every possible program for the ones they decide to let in. For what reason do they do it ? What are the requirements for those brought in and sponsored by government ? Just because the need a place to live ? As we have seen good character plays no part when they demand special services. There is no education requirement or anything that I ever heard of. Where is it in the constitution that is the job of Government and what branch gets to decide ?
I don't support it even if they helped us in a time of war only because the wars we engage in are not for our protection or interest. Let the MIC who we fight the wars for be responsible for their support. The reason they are homeless is because me bombed them or otherwise intervened to make them homeless because they couldn't control their own countrymen.

Hi my name is Larry and I'm sponsored by Lockheed Martin. I came here to nurse on the government breast and now you say I have to work and speak english and get educated. Why is that ?

Thanks for coming in larry. Now get the F66k out.

I have a hunch that he mainly wants Latinos to be able to come here in unlimited numbers.

So I assume that you regularly sponsor refugees and open your home to them?

As long as they're not Muslims. We should not take in any Muslim refugees right now.

No to letting in ANY 3rd - 9th world refugees!
I assume you do realize that this country was founded by people who were refugees in particular people fearing religious persecution in Europe.

Whether the USA likes it or not as long as the land borders are not sealed illegal immigrants will be crossing over the borders.

Those coming here illegally are not living in fear of religious persecution nor are they truly refugees. They are coming here for economic gain at the expense of the American taxpayer/worker. We could do much more to secure our borders and removing the incentives for them to come here would also be a huge deterrant. Can we end it altogether? Of course not but we could put a huge dent in it by making the right moves.

^What ever gave you the idea that I would take in refugees? After all, you assume that I'm a conservative since I don't believe we should be taking in all these refugees---especially ones that come from countries that are hostile to us.

Glad to hear that you practice what you preach and regularly sponsor and take in refugees!
