Suppose to be cold, wet, snowy soon.

It may be about time for the GJ to release it's results.

Like heck it's not different.

This family is claiming that their "gentle giant," their little boy was maliciously gunned down by a cold-hearted, racist rogue cop.

They claim that their grief is so heavy - for the little boy that they turned over to ANOTHER family member to raise - that they can hardly face another day. They've well-nigh destroyed the community of Ferguson with their lies and half-truths, and have set back race relations who-knows-how-many years.

Meanwhile, their hawking this junk at the street corners?

These folks have no couth and no shame.

There's no comparison to Michael Jackson memorabilia.

No. Michael Jackson and Elvis were already famous when they died and they acquired their fame the traditional way. Nobody had ever heard of Michael Brown before he was shot and he only became famous (or infamous) through tragedy. That's quite a different situation.

Michael Brown made the choice to assault a police officer. He died as a result. End of story.

How *anyone* can support this thug/felon just amazes me. We have a cop doing his job - trying to protect the public from Brown and his ilk - and now he's being crucified. This, despite much forensic evidence, with some of it provided by the PRIVATE medical examiner hired by Brown's mother.

It defies understanding.

The way much of the press has acquiesced passively or otherwise in a sort of guilty before proven re the cop is disgusting. Due process anyone? So much for the underdog. On the unsung (excuse the tangent), nary a word from the Ferguson community (that I've heard) on the poor merchants in the area who have been victimized, suffering not only financial loss, but in fear of their lives. Not sexy enough I guess. Maybe just too much of 'the man'.

"Pearlie" is Pearlie Gordon, mother of Mike Brown, Sr.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nati...icle-1.2001373

"McSpadden’s former mother-in-law, Pearlie Gordon, was among those beaten by “a large group of about 20-30 subjects” who had “jumped out of vehicles and rushed” the group of sellers, according to the police report.

Sounds like the apple doesn't fall far from the [family] tree.

Apparently Michael Brown's mother is planning on going to Geneva to address the UN. Maybe she can speak about the poor damn merchants in Ferguson who were in fear of their lives (and may well anticipate the same in the near future) during the recent riots and looting?

Default Ferguson Question

I hope that this thread does not spiral in to a hate filled topic from either side. However, I do have a question. If Darren Wilson is not found to have done anything wrong in this situation, which evidence is suggesting, what exactly do the protesters want? From the outside looking in, it appears that the protesters want Wilson to take the fall regardless of whether or not he actually did anything illegal.

Last point, if Wilson is not prosecuted, I hope that the authorities have a true zero tolerance towards any individuals who even cross one inch past the peaceful protest line.
