Over 100 gunshots fired and counting... businesses burning... mom & pop shops on fire... etc. etc.

Sadly, the history of North County involved good middle class African Americans moving in...and then a fire sale of homes at toilet bowl prices by remaining residents that enabled the encroachment of non-middle class individuals...largely African American.

There should be no surprise concerning any violence tonight. The perps have been waiting for an excuse. My guess is that the violence would still be there, even if they hung officer Wilson from the nearest tree tonight. IMHO, if I had a business, I would have left back in Sept. That town is toast.

No it wont. It will go the way of Detroit, most of North St. Louis, East St. Louis, Cairo Illinois, etc.

The question is whether any of Norco will survive, Florrisant, Hazelwood, etc.

Oh, Florissant will survive and will remain untouched. Florissant is NOTHING like Ferguson. Worlds apart. Same goes for Hazelwood.

CNN is reporting how firefighters are letting these businesses burn in Ferguson because they were shot at.

Welcome to the third world.

This is what happened in the Rodney King riots. Responding firefighters were shot at. It was so shocking when that happened. Firefighters! Talk about a breakdown of civilization.

Unfortunately this is much bigger than Ferguson, as history has determine that change must occur now. Sorry it had to be Ferguson, but it could have been any city in America that racial profiles and view black youth life as unimportant.
