"'Smoke is smoke. Both tobacco and marijuana smoke impair blood vessel function similarly,' said study senior author Matthew Springer, a cardiovascular researcher and associate professor of medicine in the university's cardiology division. 'People should avoid both, and governments who are protecting people against secondhand smoke exposure should include marijuana in those rules.' Blood vessel function in laboratory rats dropped by 70 percent after a half-hour of exposure to secondhand marijuana smoke -- similar to results found with secondhand tobacco smoke, researchers from the University of California, San Francisco reported Sunday."
Yea,,so what's the point? Water kills people all the time, why not point that out..Ever notice how many people choke to death while eating? Look your gonna die from something...Walk out of the room and reconsider why your mingling in company that smokes marijuana.....or cigarettes,,or eats fatty foods, specially them GMO foods...lets not forget the crazy car drivers, they're the worse...
I especially love the vegetarian crowd,,ever notice one preaching while wearing leather shoes and a belt to hold their pants up when they're on the holier that thou box?

Told you. Peas in a pod: tobacco and marijuana when it comes to health issues.
We know so little about what marijuana does...but people don't do it as often as tobacco.
I hope they legalize it so people stop going to jail for years for selling it...then I hope people research its affects extensively, and advertise them all in the same way the negatives of cigarettes are advertised.
The only reason I'm not sickened by the "cannabis is all about peace and love and it's a wonder drug that will make all your problems go away" culture is that culture attacks the "cannabis is of the devil and you deserve to be shot for selling it" culture.
I want both the "let's glorify cannabis" culture and the "Let's go shoot everyone who sells cannabis" culture to die. However, I want the "Let's go shoot everyone who sells cannabis" culture to die considerably more than the other one...so for now, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Whooo! Yay Pot! Everybody smoke pot for freedom!"
Hopefully, society will begin the destruction of the marijuana-glorifying culture once the marijuana-was-invented-by-satan culture is gone.

So is the net takeaway here that tobacco products should be illegal? if you look at statistics, it is far more lethal than cannabis, and alcohol combined.
