The idea that Elizabeth Warren is radical on par with tea party screamers is indicative of how skewed some people's views are of the left/right position of the US. There's no doubt she's left of Ted Cruz, but by European standards she is a moderate at best.
And if the best smear the Republicans have on her is this Native American thing, that's pretty sad.
Nobody here cares how Warren rates by Euporean politics standards.
The "Native American thing" is symptomatic of Democrat politics. Kinda like Hillary coming under sniper fire in Bosnia or being broke when she and Bill left the WH. Kinda like Obama being a Harvard Law professor. Kinda like voters being stupid.
funniest thing is even 'retired' senator criss dodd a democrat, has show that there is no-confidence in warren, and urged Obama to put somebody else in the job
Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has frequently clashed with Wall Street bailout watchdog Elizabeth Warren, but today he praised her work on financial reform and said she would be "a very effectively leader" of the powerful consumer protection agency to be created under the new Wall Street reform law. (and she would be under geithner)
Warren, Geithner Look Past Tensions to Shape Agency
Elizabeth Warren, appointed last week to help set up a new U.S. consumer financial-protection agency, spent much of the past two years critiquing Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner. Now, he will oversee her.
Time's Nearly Up for Elizabeth Warren
Obama is looking for other candidates to lead the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau created by the Harvard law professor
President Barack Obama appointed Warren as a special adviser in September and asked her to prepare the bureau for its July 21 launch. The move was seen by her supporters as a chance for Warren to placate her critics and clear the way for an eventual nomination.
Six months later, there's little evidence Warren has succeeded. Opposition from Wall Street banks and Republicans has only intensified after her involvement in proposing a $20 billion fine on the mortgage industry. While she's won the support of many small community banks, Warren has converted no new allies in the Senate, leaving her short of the 60 votes needed for confirmation. Before retiring in January, Senator Christopher J. Dodd (D-Conn.), co-author of the Dodd-Frank regulatory reform bill that created the consumer agency, urged Obama to put somebody else in the job—a vote of no confidence that helps explain rumors that Warren is considering alternative paths, including a run for the Senate. Representatives for Warren declined to comment.

The "native american thing"? You mean the fact that she LIED to get her job?
Well, it's no surprise the lefties love her. They do love those liars.
Elizabeth Warren seems to be the Ted Cruz of the Left. Did you think the Republicans had trouble handling Tea Party dissidents? Wait until you see how the next couple years work out for the Dems, with the progressive's radical agenda of war on prosperity and their battle against economic literacy.

but we understand you libbots dont care about how full of crap she is..the only thing you care about is she is a leftist liberal
warren a known liar.......just like all liberdrools
When did Warren work for Tim Geithner?
There is no love lost between him and Warren. He, and ultimately Dodd's, request that someone else be appointed to head the Consumer Protection Agency was because he was part of the Wall Street establishment and Dood needed to get his bill passed.
She opposed the bonuses, how the bailouts were handled, and the deregulation of banks in general. I don't see how anyone that doesn't earn seven figures on either Wall of K Streets would be opposed to a lot of what she has to say.
But, I guess he you can hate her because she's a libby, lib Democrat.
Is there actually any proof that that is the only reason she got her job?
I know this is the talking point du jour to run with against Warren, beamed into your myopic brains from whatever talk radio host you worship.
The fact that the banking lobby didn't want her appointed speaks volumes.
If she lied on a resume to get into a top tier school, aren't you curious as to how far she'll go in order to achieve her national political ambitions?
