I specifically asked you about how you were describing the tax cuts as "for the rich" when every news article I could find had the tax cuts vastly weighted towards the middle class and poor.
Instead you are hand-waving about construction costs.
Come one, try to be honest.
Talk specifically about the tax cuts and whom benefited the most.
Please note that road maintenance is not proof of tax cuts for the rich.
Its cold, I don't have a problem with anyone taking a vacation. Should he work on roads up there, sure. Work with the state legislature to prioritize the road projects. There hasn't been a lot of federal funding for roads either, one reason states are behind on roads also.
I mean, its up to the people of Wisconsin to decide, but they re-elected him, so theres your answer.
Except WI needs roads repaired, not more roads. That is like building a new addition on the house when the roof is collapsing on the rest of the house. Poor management!
States repair and expand roads all the time.. Where do you live that its limited and they dont make choices based upon the needs of the community.
Exactly! And Walker used extremely poor judgement by not basing either on the needs of the state!

The main finding of this report is that Wisconsin stands out like a sore thumb, compared to most other states, with regard to how much the state plans to spend on new road capacity and highway development when you consider our relatively slow population and driving growth,†wrote WISPIRG Director Bruce Speight. “The trends hardly justify diverting limited transportation resources from other uses and modes.â€
Overall, Walker's plan is structured to make the state's tax system slightly more favorable to those with lower incomes and slightly less favorable to those at the very highest end.
I'd explain where you are confused but it's frankly time better served trying to teach my dog spanish.
Funny, in the article you linked, Walker calls the infrastructure a priority, and the current Republican transportation proposal has the support of the road builders, construction unions and local governments.
And oh btw, Walker is Florida because that's where the GOP governors meeting is, and oh btw, he's a GOP governor?
Sorry for my curiosity, but does his physical presence in the state actually alter the weather or improve the condition of asphalt? Is this the 18th century, where he would need to dispatch his directives via a horseback courier, to arrive in Madison a month later? Not sure why the need for the ad hominem attack based on his physical location?
it depends on how we are looking at this...for our OP friend.
you see, Gov. Walker is a republican so if he takes a vacation, or spends too much time in the potty going poo.... he is slacking while WI burns.
if however lets say you are the president of the USA and you have spent more time on the golf course than in actual meetings with your national secruity team... well thats not an issue because you are smart enough to walk and chew gum at the same time....
and no, the OP does not see a double standard here.
Why wouldnt those that earn more than others, get larger cuts?
Basic 2nd grade math would indicate this is true.
Didn't you learn anything from GWB's disaster? Why do you suppose Bush gave out money to low income people and not the wealthy when the recession hit?

"In the long run, a shift from income to sales and excise taxation will definitely make the state's tax system less progressive; that is, it will shift a larger portion of the costs of government services to those with lower incomes," Reschovsky wrote in an email.
