That NBC employee, according to the Boston Herald link: "Scotti provided copies of money orders to four women to the Daily News and said Cosby asked him to put his own name on them." If the women would support those allegations of hush money, because of Cosby's actions, it might bolster claims of rape by women that might have claims within the statue of limitations?
I really don't know, I'm not a legal expert. It is obvious that some stations are backing away from Cosby because of these newer allegations. Somebody thinks there is trouble brewing for the aging comedian.
What is the count now, like 17 alleged victims? IMHO, odds are that at least one, and probably close to all, are telling the truth.
There is no motivation here for them to lie. It is a humiliating feeling being a victim of a sexual assault. Coming forward like this takes courage and gives them unwanted attention.
Even with the Michael Jackson scandal, i believe less that 5 kids came FWD. This is 3xs as many.

It is only recently that we are holding our star athletics to higher standards. For years we would simply turn a blind eye.
The big boys, Netflex and NBC, are pulling the plug. They would have huddled around their star idol if they suspected that he could walk away unscathed. Apparently they do not feel that way - I am sure that their legal departments carefully looked over all of the evidence and their PR department also did an analysis.
