Jesus used to be the reason for the season...as they say...

Now he's the excuse for the season.

The reason for the season is Wal-Mart , Target, etc...

I saw a black Christmas tree in the store the other day, and I thought that would make a nice anti-Xmas sentiment.

THAT is what I just do not and can not understand!
WHY do you (or anybody) feel the need to rain on the celebrations of others?
Is it too much trouble to live and let live?

By the way, the "X" in "X-mas" represents the Greek for "Christ", so by stating X-mas you are saying "Christmas" whether you want to or not.

Omg Christmas music is wonderful! Could listen to it year-round. You exaggerate... They start playing in November.

This right here is why I actually have disdain for christmas. I cannot STAND when the trees go up in city parks in freakin' OCTOBER. Stay in the damn month that you're slated for. And I think more & more people hate that as well yet christmas is going up earlier & earlier. Why? What is the point? There is no point, it just makes people hate you. I even got po'd at the salvation army bell ringer who started November 1. Come on!

I don't. But I deeply resent people trying to strongarm me into celebrating something I don't wish to celebrate.

And believe me - there are plenty of people who will do just that.
