O admin has a demostrated pattern of lies vs an occassional interpretive statement. These days video evidence apparently does not carry the weight it did just one administration ago.

Democrats complained about Bush for a laundry list of reasons.
Democrats cheered, chanted in unison, and even fainted when Obama blasted Bush for the laundry list of reasons.
Democrats are now fine with Obama adopting most of those policies and out-Bushing Bush on most of the laundry list.
The reason that Obama is a failure, is because Democrats refuse to hold him accountable for any lie, for any flip flop on an easy to fulfill promise, for any out-Bushing Bush, etc... Obama knows that criticism from his base will be negligible at best for any lie. Obama has no pressure to have integrity and therefore lacks it.
Democrats never opposed Bush policies for the laundry list we always heard about. They opposed Bush not being hot with a D after his name.
