"Judicial Watch reports that the Obama administration has turned over about 42,000 pages of documents related to the Fast and Furious scandal. One of the documents provides smoking gun proof that the Obama White House and the Eric Holder Justice Department colluded to get CBS News to block reporter Sharyl Attkisson. In an email dated October 4, 2011, Attorney General Holder’s top press aide, Tracy Schmaler, called Attkisson “out of control.” Schmaler told White House Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz that he intended to call CBS news anchor Bob Schieffer to get the network to stop Attkisson. Schultz replied, 'Good. Her piece was really bad for the AG.' Schultz also told Schmaler that he was working with reporter Susan Davis, then at the National Journal, to target Rep. Darrel Issa (R-CA). Issa led the House investigation into Fast and Furious. Davis now works at USA Today. In the email chain, Schultz tells Schmaler that he would provide Davis with 'leaks.'"

The PJ Tatler » Bombshell: Email Proves that White House, DOJ Targeted Reporter Sharyl Attkisson

Embedded in the pjmedia story are links to the evidence so that you can check them out for yourself. Seriously, and the news media wonders why we think they're less trustworthy than a used car salesman.

Davis, Schmaler and the White House Deputy Press Secretary should be fired and National Journal and CBS and their advertisers should be boycotted.

And Howard Kurtz better cover this on his Media Buzz Show this weekend.

The MSM sold themselves out completely to the Obama administration. They can't be shamed because they don't care. There's no such thing as real journalism in this country, only whatever political agenda needs to be flogged. It's not new, William Hearst did it too, but the media today has given up any pretense of independence and has comfortably made their beds with the Democratic party.

The problem is there is no broad media effort to admonish the perps. We are living in Dodge city pre marshall Earp where the local cattle baron owns the newsparer, sheriff and mayor. Who you going to tell of the injustice? the DOJ?

It is as if video evidence no longer carries the same weight as it used to. How can that be?

The greatest tragedy to befall Amrica is the betrayal of the people by the media and journalists.

The media could bring the downfall of any political hack, it choses not to do so.

The WH rules the MSM. Heck, the NYTimes were getting all their Obama administration articles vetted by the WH before publishing. The Guardian exposed that one.

You are being fed propaganda my friends.

Turn to foreign sites if you want to read about what is going on in the US and by the US on foreign soil.

This is pretty sad. And people thought Nixon was paranoid and vindictive. It seems that Obama is intent on topping the very worse of the 70's in both Nixon and Carter.

Echoes of the Nixon Admin:
washingtonpost.com: Nixon Hoped Antitrust Threat Would Sway Network Coverage

The difference is that back then the press took an adversarial stance towards the admin, whereas now they take cooperative one, which is probably why Atkisson is no longer at CBS.

Outside of Fox news and a few guys on the radio the entire lame stream media is in bed with Obama. They've been his biggest cheerleaders since day one.

Your argument is that a news paper shouldnt vet its articles by asking the source and the subject, do you read your own post before you hit submit ???????
