Remember when Obamacare enrollment ended and Obama and the Dems crowed about signing up more than 8 million people and surpassing their enrollment goal? Yeah, well forget that. Turns out it was just one more lie by this President Lying Liar who Lies A Lot.

Quote:
Only 6.7 million Americans were enrolled in Obamacare health insurance plans as of mid-October, not 7.1 million, the Obama administration admitted Thursday.

The overcount was uncovered by the House Oversight and Government Reform committee and first reported by Bloomberg News.

The Obama administration has long been very selective in the Obamacare data it releases. After open enrollment closed at the end of March, officials would only say that more than 8 million people had signed up for plans, but would not reveal how many had completed enrollment by paying their first month's premium.

The correction means the administration missed the CBO's initial projection that 7 million would enroll.
So first they lied and said 8 million.

Then in September, they finally released a "final count" of 7.3 million.

Then in November, they "revised" the 7.3 to 7.1 (they'd had months to get the number correct before September, so the "revision" was bunk anyway.)

And then the House Oversight Committee catches them in a lie, so they now say the real, correct number is 6.7 million.

It's insane. Why do people continue to defend this non-stop lying??? Every Dem on this board that was crowing about Obamacare exceeding their targets should be pissed. You were lied to yet again, and you should be contacting the WH and telling them to tell the truth so that you stop looking like fools.

Oh, and the icing on the cake? Even if Obamacare hits 9.1 million as projected- that's still 4 million less than the CBO projections for 2015 enrollment.

Also:
Quote:
The administration has not said how many enrollees were previously uninsured, nor has it released how many people who've signed up for Medicaid were newly eligible under expansion.
So much for transparency. Obamacare is just one big mound of lies.

"If you like your plan, you can keep your plan."

That's all you need to know about the lies about the ACA. That, and the fact that the White House and Democrats relied on the American voters being stupid, as well-dictated by Jonathan Gruber.

I keep on waiting for the tipping point. The point where people stop defending it and start getting real. This is not good. The longer people turn a blind eye to, the worse things will be.

Too many people drank the Kool-aid that effected their eyesight. A cornea transplant wouldn't help them now.

Obama stood there and lied to our faces. It's on video.

Quote:
A defiant President Obama on Thursday announced that 8 million people have enrolled in ObamaCare plans while exhorting Democrats to “be proud” of what they’ve achieved.

The president touted the enrollment total, which exceeded the most optimistic projections for the first year, and said members of his party should "forcefully defend” the law.
http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare...re-enrollments- Obama tells Dems to ‘be proud’ as ObamaCare enrollments reach 8 million

He came out and ran a victory lap, knowing he was lying. He even chastised Republicans in that speech.

He lied to our faces. He crowed over the numbers, knowing he was lying the whole time. This guy has some sort of personality disorder. He should be in intensive therapy, not president of the US.

The taxes and overpayment of subsidies will catch up to people sooner or later.
But by then it will be too late.

You can't take away "free stuff" once you give it out.

So suck it up and open those wallets.

Obama's not a dummy politically.

He postponed the employer mandate. He let the non-compliant individual plans stay in effect longer. The bailout of insurance companies won't kick-in for a year or two. The 'Cadillac' tax isn't until 2018, I think.

Instead of a tipping point or 'death spiral,' we'll have a 'life spiral' because it'll be too late to do much about it.

Even worse than that.. the original goal was 32 million.

Thats THIRTY TWO MILLION folks..

Number of uninsured Americans rises to 50.7 million - USATODAY.com

So they kick off 12 million people, and then celebrate 6.7 million getting insurance, and then Gruber comes out and says the bill is designed to kill every employer sponsored insurance policy over the next 20 years.

Hold onto your seat, its going to get rough since the Democrats continue to claim nothing is wrong and call their failures a complete success..

There seems to be a tendency among some on the left to lie even when it is not really very helpful to the case. Does it really change any minds if the number is 8 million, 7 million or 6.7 million? Not really.

I've seen this many times in debates over Iraq. The real cost of the war was high enough, but lefties felt compelled to double, triple, or even sextuple it. Actual cost was $806 billion according to the congressional research service. At some point it becomes apparent that people are making up numbers as they go.
