See, we're not the only country suffering from the PC disease.

Winnie the Pooh has been banned from a local playground in Poland after outraged councilors declared his state of undress and “dubious sexuality” inappropriate for children.

During a local council meeting in the small town of Tuszyn, the beloved bear’s attire and lack of genitalia were hotly debated by several councilors, who insisted Winnie the Pooh was an inappropriate role model for young children because he was a hermaphrodite.

Not sure how you come to the conclusion that this is PC.

PC. Not so much. This sounds like something a very intolerant town would do. I could totally see some town in Mississippi or Alabama doing something like this.

Is it better to tell six year old boys that they can tape their balls to their leg and ask their teachers to call them Karen?

Donald Duck wears a jacket and no pants and that's OK - but there is something strangely arousing about Bugs Bunny in drag. Best not to let adolescent boys watch him.

I'd also ban a man in a Winnie The Pooh costume from wandering about schoolyards.

I wonder if Jerry Falwell is pulling an Elvis and is in Poland now.

I think these Poles have a point. There are a number of cartoon characters who have suspect sexuality. What do we really know the Tasmanian Devil. Sure he comes across as macho, but he, or she?, also takes the clothing optional route. I am not going to get started on the cross-dressing Elmer Fudd or what we do we really know about Minnie or Micky Mouse. These cartoon characters may be signs of the Apocalypse.

I would phrase it differently - this is something a sex-obsessed, superstitious town would do.

I wonder, did any town in the US seriously debate banning the teletubbies or spongebobsquarepants or harry potter books and/or movies?
