People actually listen to those genres? Only thing that could be worse is opera.

Steve Earle is pretty liberal. Maybe the Dixie Chicks also?

Toby Keith and Tim McGraw are known democrats. Not sure if they would be considered liberal though.

I don't care about their politics, I only want to listen to their music.
They are ENTERTAINERS, not political commenters or pundits or even "talking heads".

I would be surprised to learn that Steve Martin is conservative.

Okay, it's a capella. But that's still a bluegrass band.

Heck yeah I listen to bluegrass. I play a lot of it too.

I was 16 when Bonnie and Clyde came out in 1967. I was mesmerized by Earl's pickin' on the soundtrack and vowed to learn to play the 5-string in the Scruggs style. Mom got me a 1962 Gibson RB-250 at a pawnshop that Christmas. I still have it along with 14 other banjos.

Took me 20+ years to get good enough to play for money....but I made quite a bit with it over the years.

I never saw a political angle to moving those strings, though.
