The conservative House Freedom Caucus on Tuesday called on the three chairmen whose House committees are involved in the impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump to release the full transcript of last week's testimony of Kurt Volker, former special U.S. envoy to Ukraine.
"They are holding secret hearings to prevent the American people from learning the facts and deciding for themselves," Freedom Caucus Chairman Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., said in a statement announcing the letter.
They are not going to be happy. It turn's out that the guys (Meadows, Jordan) did not do a good job when the cameras were not on.
This was back on October 4, I also can't wait to see Jordan's questions.
Quote:
U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, said Thursday night he hopes all Americans get an opportunity to read transcripts from the day's Capitol Hill interviews with former U.S. envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker -- but added the decision is up to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif.
"Sean, I hope every American gets a chance to read what took place in that room today -- because when they do, they will see there's no 'quid pro quo,'" Jordan said on "Hannity." "They will see exactly what President Trump and [Ukraine] President [Volodymyr] Zelensky, was going on between these two countries."
Good news "House Freedom Caucus", you are about to get your wish.
The next fun part is watching them squirm away from actually looking at it when it is public domain.
