The millennial generation is taking over the reins of the world, and thus we are presented with a wonderful opportunity to right some of the wrongs of the past. As young people, we need to devote real energy to solving what are collective challenges. Until we do so, we should get comfortable with sporadic muggings and break-ins. I can hardly blame them. The cards are all in our hands, and we’re not playing them.
To persuade victims to collaborate in violent crimes against them and tell them that their being abused and robbed is appropriate and the right of their assailants

I had never before seen a gun, let alone known where to get one.
Why am I not surprised. He doesn't seem to even understand the very real danger he was in. It doesn't end so well for other victims.
What a horrendously sheltered young man. Each thought he writes is more naïve than the last. He says they only wanted his stuff - not him. If he were a woman it could be a very different story. I cannot help but apply his reasoning to a crime like rape. If the rapist has been less "privileged" with being able to get women, maybe women should empathize and just get comfortable with the idea they may be raped.
The writer attends the above school. I don't believe that his story is true. I bet he wrote this for a class assignment. Someone who had been robbed at gunpoint would not be so empathetic to the people who pointed a gun in their face. It's a propaganda piece. Social conditioning.

As I said, they give me hope. Like this one:

One of the worst things about the New Left is that it de-humanizes the people it claims to “protect”. They’re no longer adult people with rights and responsibilities, they’re simply puppies that must be cuddled no matter what they do.
