Oh look we compare wildlife to human beings. I guess we should stop medicine since animals dont practice that, and my god, economics? Yup thats got to go too. Cars and planes? yup. And computers? Yeah thats got to go too.

Sometimes comparing one thing to another misses the complexities and realities of life.

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz?
My friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends.
Worked hard all my lifetime, no help from my friends,
So Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz?

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a color TV?
Dialing For Dollars is trying to find me.
I wait for delivery each day until three,
So oh Lord, won't you buy me a color TV?

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a night on the town?
I'm counting on you, Lord, please don't let me down.
Prove that you love me and buy the next round,
Oh Lord, won't you buy me a night on the town?

Everybody!
Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz?
My friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends,
Worked hard all my lifetime, no help from my friends,
So oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz?

Basic income as I understand it is a salary paid to United States citizens by the government.

It comes from the government instructing the banks to credit your checking out.

What do you know about economics outside of Say's Law? SMH

You conservatives can't even interpret a simple supply and demand curve if your lives depended on it. lol

It's funny that the person with the biggest following among libertarians when it comes to economics is Peter Schiff, someone who isn't even an economist.

It is liberals who pretend the supply and demand curve for labor is nonexistent or a horizontal or vertical line.

Income inequality is not a meme; it's a fact. It is at its highest level since before the Great Depression.

Why would you want more income inequality?

very good, and where does the money come from that the government uses to pay this basic income?

that is right citizen, the TAXPAYER. so tell me again how basic income isnt just like welfare? and dont give me the routine where people are supposed to work for the money, because it wont wash. it iwll be just another hand out program.
