It is a surprise to see the conservatives endorse the Russian style of communism. The modern communism style being generally modeled is more closely related to Chairman Mao's design of the Great Chinese Famine. Where the Chinese did it through agriculture. Conservatives today are are doing it through corporatism which should produce the same results. They have to stop the socialist left to reach the maximum impact in the shortest possible time. Thats the only other viable party opposing them anyway. The propaganda being cranked out now is in the infant stage but has its core supporters having been around a few years now.

Here is a example that is fun to watch. The socialist left is made to look foolish as designed. Where the mistake is made by the conservative producer, and that it goes unnoticed only by conservatives, is what their position claims is superior. If they could only get in a position of power and keep it long enough they could prevent by force any opposition. The one party system is their goal because nothing is better than their own view and they see no evil in that. Notice at the end is a scathing personal attach which is their supporting argument. To see that watch the last minute and a half.

Publicly criticize Putin in Russia and you could end up losing your job or in prison. Like the article says, Putin's deputy chief of staff recently told a group of political analysts that "there is no Russia today if there is no Putin" and "any attack on Putin is an attack on Russia."

People that live in America have no idea how good they have it.
It is true that most of the people in the US have no idea how good they have it. However, a man with a big smile came along who promised to "fundamentally change" the country, and he was given the reins to do exactly that and has proceeded to do so. While he does not even make a show of looking out for the American people the way Putin appears to do for the Russian people, they both are in reality only looking out for themselves.

Re: the bolded part: there is a parallel in the US under Obama. Publicly criticizing Obama is not acceptable and you could end up losing your job or business and being harassed endlessly by the IRS and watched by other agencies.

We are a great country he has stated such many times but owning up to our mistakes rather than covering them up is what makes our country different than places like Russia.
And while "we are off invading foreign countries that never did anything to the US...." Putin is off invading (and taking) Crimea, and moving into other parts of the Ukraine. So much so that the rest of the former Soviet Republics which have thrown off the Communist yoke and now enjoy freedom, are once again concerned about losing it.

Did Putin really state that, that's hysterical.

Maybe you should consider relocating to Russia and living the good morally ethical life.

If this president had an 85% approval rating by Americans, I would probably give up and leave the country. His low numbers keeps my hope alive for the future.

What's so controversial? It's a statement of FACT.

And for the record, after watching the racial agenda of Obama, I will never in good will vote for anyone who is not of Anglo-Saxon ethnicity. That's a fact. The GOP can put forth all the Michael Steeles, Herman Cains, and Ben Carsons, but they will lose my vote henceforth if that is their strategy.

The "tribalism" that Obama has displayed time and again with unqualified pieces of trash like Rice, Holder, Lynch and so forth makes my blood boil.

My point is if the black race has the right to vote for people solely on nothing more than the color of their skin or their ethnicity, I too can cast my vote as such.

Because Putin has no ethics or morals.

Stating Obama has a racial agenda is just more right wing I hate the black man in office nonsense, not being able to vote for anyone but an Anglo-Saxon pretty much says it all.

Voting for a person because of race is the definition of ignorance.

Yes and we can thank Putin for disrupting those relatively peaceful areas that resulted in thousands of deaths and destruction. He never did anything for Ukraine in the past, one of the poorest areas in the region but now he is in love with them go figure.
