Why don't we ever consider physical fighting "Liberals vs Conservatives" (insurance, dictators)

Usually when you have the two parties can't get along on anything and country is tanking, you have actual physical sparring, punching, shooting, sword fighting to see which side wins so that there can be an end resolve rather than waiting years of waiting

I personally don't understand how a well regulated duel, over a problem that is not getting solved by talk, is not allowed today. It had it's reasons. It had it's outcomes.
I think he talking the fighting we see in so many seats of government on TV. We turnover power constantly and only a few local nuts cases get in fights as I described we have seen on TV. We have lots of practice in Democratic elections and turnover of power. The Nixon days was just a example of now strong that practice is here.If you do not believe in this I recommend you move because its not going to change anytime soon.

It is; just not to the death. As for "well regulated", boxing and fencing both have rules. I don't know how it would solve anything other than if the loser agrees to quit going on about whatever it is the duel's about, though.
I think a more practical solution is only elect people with decent morals and actual intelligence instead of the easily bought buffoons we currently get infatuated with. Far more civilized and infinitely better results.
Also, it's 'lightsaber' not 'lightsaver'.
Would never happen. People of good moral character have better things to do.

I love it! It could be like the gladiator fights in the old Roman Coliseums. We could just build a giant wall around the Beltway and make bets on the winners who would then be thrown to the lions and that would be that. What a relief! I'm in. Anybody else?
I used to do a lot of street fighting against conservative gangs in my town. I could knock people out with a single punch, and was regarded as a first rate tactician and leader. One time we hid for two days in rubbish bins outside the pie shop, and ambushed the f@%#*$)*^ as they come for their lunch orders. One of the local folk duos did a song about it
