If a white man walks into a room of full of black people and says, "poor black trash is hurting our country" the white man would leave on a stretcher.

That's the difference.

Please provide an example of a white person being honest about the failings in the black community and a black audience receiving the information with respect and reflecting on it.

Once you've done that I will provide three examples of a black person being honest about the failings in the white community and a white audience receiving the information with respect and reflecting on it.

Your move...

that's a lie..

the discussion would be heated in both groups but it wouldn't lead to a fight unless there were "poor whites" or "poor blacks" in the room.

Well....take a look at many of the comments and the nature of the comments and the underlying assumptions of black inferiority inherent in those comments. The beliefs that bear the fruit of such comments are not rare. Thus, take such individuals and put them in positions of power, authority and decision making, such as hiring personnel, police officers, loan officers, teachers.....and tell me their attitudes do not have a consequences.

There are so many white people with negative views on blacks....and these people are a cross section of Americans and occupations. People like this are really at the root of black socioeconomic inequality in America. I am not saying that the contemporary people like this created the skews, no, because the previous generations of these people are mostly responsible for that. However, the contemporaries help preserve the impact of the previous generations by fueling their prejudice from the symptoms and negative consequences of the previous generation.

Unemployment isn't killing blacks, other black people are. By vast majority, that's the number one non-health related killer of black people - other black people.

Unemployment may indeed be one of the numerous corollaries, but it isn't causation. Plenty of unemployed people in the world don't murder anyone, and they wreck any attempt at proving the one prompts the other.

My point is doesn't every race have TRASHY people and NORMAL people? So that's why I am confused when white people refer to the blacks in Ferguson are referred to as BLACKS instead of the Black trash in Ferguson.

I feel the same way. I distinguish between regular Black people, and the underclass Blacks. The Black persons who are looting in Ferguson, those are the underclass Blacks. You don't see regular Black people doing that stuff, just the trash of the Black population.

I don't approve of the looting. I also get disturbed when they refer to it as "Blacks loot". When White people riot at sporting events, it is looked at, not as "White dysfunction", but as young idiots. If Blacks do it, it gets looked at as "that's expected of Black people", not understanding that the segment of the Black population that does that stuff is the underclass.

Because it wasn't white people who turned a local shooting into an impetus for a national race war (that is if you don't include the lovely producers over at CNN or MSNBC).
