Can't they foot a little bit of that savings to pay for universal healthcare so the people struggling paycheck to paycheck on welfare and credit card debt can get healthcare?
first you have a distorted view of how the rich handle their money. in fact you dont even have a clue as to what they do with their money do you?

second, just how much free stuff do you think the rich should give away through the federal government? and why do you trust the federal government so much? and what do you think the rich would do if they were forced to give away tons of money to the federal government?
and why cant you earn your own way in this world?

Lemme check, is it a full moon? This is an example of the crazies being out and about. This simply cannot be a serious inquiry or else this poster is an idiot.

Let's see, so people work like dogs to finally make a really good income and now a lib wants to take most of it to pay for those who either do not work at all or work at minimal salaries. Tell me again, how is this fair? I call it intent to steal!

I am weary of all the libs who think it is just fine to rob the wealthy workers so they can get a free ride.

Why should the rich pay our bills , most wealthy people donate to charities , they give us jobs , some made their money from taking chances, others had their wealth handed to them , nothing wrong with that , lucky them .

Everyone, and I mean everyone, should have some skin in the game.

Reduce EITC for low wage earners.
Reduce benefits for those with no income.

Even those with only Social Security income pay a Medicare premium.

Ahh yes. Punish the poor! Use a motto to encourage it!

Fun fact-almost every quintile pays a combined state, federal, and fee rate of about 20% of their earned income.

ergo pretty much everyone that possibly can has some skin in the game.
