What are sides? All ideas are opportunities to learn, we're all in the same boat, and the only side here should be pulling for America. Why raise artificial creations like parties into deities?

No.

I find people who are 100% cocksure of their political beliefs to not be very smart people at all. They are propelled by a weird mix of arrogance and moral vanity, and lack the intellectual capacity to entertain a different point of view. But despicable? Nah.

What's more, they suffer from a pretty bad case of confirmation bias. So in their news consumption, they don't seek facts. Instead, they seek narrative in those news sources that feed them the facts they like and don't emphasize the facts they don't.

So if you're 100% Democrat or Republican, Liberal or Conservative, I tend to look for your lobotomy scars. Because I cannot imagine any intelligent person being even partially aware of the world around them and subscribing completely to a given political creed.

But despise? No.

The only ones I despise are the ones who walk through this world with a sense of entitlement, as if we, or the government owe them something.

I'm a 100% sure I remember my oath. I never forget that and use that to drive me. You can't put a price tag on freedom, The Constitution, The Declaration Of Independents and The Bill Of Rights.......they aren't for sale. I'll die before.....

No. With that said, I agree with one side sometimes and the other side sometimes. And sometimes, they're both wrong.

[there should be more sides]
