It would be in there "interests" to do so and protect China... right? While your crying i'll be buying guns.

Unfortunately, our government has not had enough of meddling in other peoples affairs. Even more unfortunate is the fact the world has no shortage of crazy people to retaliate.

thats a hard call. Its like kicking a ant hill, then expecting the ants to go into their holes, after you decide you don't want to play anymore.

A major terrorist attack would be a blessing for this administration and would probably lead to cancellation of the elections or inauguration. Fortunately, I do not believe they have the competence to arrange for one. Maybe the Saudi Royal intelligence service would help?

Yes, why would you hate someone that you don't ever see? I never met you before Mr. America, but I hate you and wish to destroy you? We are not targets without reason and we have had plenty of "uninvited" influence on other countries. We threaten their culture, government, and way of life. What if someone threatened America like that, would you just say "Oh well.". Perhaps Russia, wanting to spread the importance of socialism to every country and should station their troops everywhere, especially in the U.S. and surrounding countries and force other "rogue" and "democratic" countries and its citizens to love socialism. By the way I don't cry. Buy guns? Please, I love the idea that you would buy a gun because I fear for your rights and independence. You may one day be protecting yourself from a government assault on your freedoms. One day they may and try and take YOUR gun... I want everyone to have a gun. That is a day, the government has to be really afraid to trample on the rights of its citizens..

It was obvious there'd be more 'attacks' before the dust from the WTC settled over Manhattan. The real questions to ask are a) Who will be the terrorists?, b) What can we do to keep it from being as successful as the first one, "successful" as in "let's not get fooled again"? The first 'attack' built our prison, the next one will close the cell doors.

I think we could put our military back here at the borders, tighten that up better, bring them home and let them stay closer to their families, and us, protect US for a change and forget this lame idea of "democracy" for Iraq, I dont mean to sound insensitive, its just that after this long, some new strategy for us is what Id like to see... also, like someone else said, WHO are we going to get hit from, I think its mostly people who are the terrorists already HERE in the states that organize this than the ones they are taking orders from, more of them here than we know, probably why all our phones are bugged... if they bomb us again, I think we should just getting fighting mad, and go over and drop the big one, Im tired of screwing around with all of them ....

I believe that, because of the freedoms we enjoy in this country, and regardless of our foreign policies, terrorist factions will always want to attack this nation and its citizens.
